West of Scotland Tour

This tour covers what has to be 3 of the finest links courses on this stretch of coastline, The Ailsa, Royal Troon and Western Gailes. This is a place where untamed countryside and unspoilt coastline sit side by side, where history meets state-of-the art, where Robert the Bruce once ruled.

Meet and greet at airport and transfered by luxury coach to The Turnberry Hotel in Ayrshire.  Set in 800 acres of one of the most beautiful corners of Scotland, Turnberry's fascinating provenance and idyllic natural position render any stay a memorable experience.

After lunch you will play The Ailsa Course where you will be garaunteed a tee time providing that your tour is booked on time with Executive Golf Andalucia.  Long regarded as one of the finest courses in the world, the Ailsa came to international prominence with the famous duel between Jack Nicklaus and Tom Watson over the four days of the 1977 Open.

You will be free in the evening to enjoy the splendour and this 5 star hotel and the views form it,s bars and resturaunts.

After a hearty breakfast you will be transported to Royal Troon for your next challenging round.  One of the great links courses and a challenging testof golfing ability. With the wind to contend with, the deep rough interspresed with gorse and broom, accurate shot making is essential here. After your round you can relax in the clubhouse and enjoy a leisurely lunch before heading back to Turnerry for a relaxing evening.

Last but not least you will travel by coach to the last course on this tour at Western Gailes Gold Club. It is recognised as one of the finest and true links courses in Scotland measuring 6899 yards from the championship tees. The course has played host to the Curtis Cup, PGA Championship, Seniors and prestigious Scottish Amateur Championship. It is also one of the final qualifying courses when The Open is played at Turnberry or Royal Troon.

You will be transported back to your hotel for your last evening in paradise or should you choose to we can transport you to a local venue for dinner etc.

Day 4: After breakfast you will check out of your hotel and we will transport you to the airport for the journey home. Alternatively you can combine any of our tours and extend your trip to another Scottish region, Ireland or hop across to the Costa Del Golf in sunny Spain and take in Valderrama or one of the other top golfing venues along this coast.
